MicroSociety 2.0 takes our analog model digital. Young citizens build web sites for their ventures, agencies and nonprofits and engage in a fully digital economy, using debit cards to shop and bank online. It is being piloted at two MicroSociety schools.

Inspiring Change Through 3D Learning Experiences

4th Terra is an interactive, classroom-based 3D game that lets students build a society of wellbeing. Students collaborate as they build business empires and strive to create a just and successful society, while tackling real-life modern-day environmental, societal, and financial challenges!

4th Terra offers exciting opportunities for teachers to bring the MicroSociety spirit into their classrooms, including in schools that have yet to adopt MicroSociety.

Professional Services, Supportive Community

MSI offers live and on-demand Zoom training sessions for teachers and administrators with MSI’s faculty of training consultants, in addition to in-person sessions.

We offer “MicroForum,” a private Google chat space where MicroSociety educators can ask questions and get and share tips.

We are upgrading our curriculum to include immersive online lessons and user-friendly digital manuals and guidebooks. We are also building “MicroPortal,” a website that will become the go-to source for MicroSociety educators seeking curriculum and classroom materials.
